Happy New Year, Parents! I am excited to be back in school after a restful Christmas break! We have spent the last two days reviewing some of the concepts we talked about last year, as well as working on some team-building exercises with our new seating arrangement. We got to spend some time this afternoon with our Faith Families playing games. We are ready to jump back into learning new things next week! In math, we will start working with place value, and the importance of keeping numbers aligned when adding multi-digit numbers. Our story for next week is about the American West. We will read about the Native Americans hunting buffalo, and the some of the difficulties that the pioneers endured during their journeys West. In social studies, we will look at how our physical environment might affect some of the things we are able to do. We will start our vocations lessons in preparation for Catholic Schools Week at the end of January.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
